Linux & OSS Consortium
We provide Linux desktop environment and Internet services for students and members to work on Linux and Open Source research. Extensive Linux resources, white papers, reference books, newsclipping and journals available to our students and members.
SWP is also the representative of the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) Hong Kong Chapter. The LPI was first established in Canada in 1999, quickly gained great support from international hardware and software vendors, book publishers and is well perceived by the Open Source community. The LPI has been successfully established our affiliates around the world in Australia, Brazil, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong and the USA.
The LPI Hong Kong Chapter was established since the year 2000. As a non-profit making and vendor independent professional organization, we have been successfully supporting the Linux professionalism and the growth of Linux in Hong Kong.
