Who we are?
SWP is an abbreviation of the "Sun Wah - PearL". SWP Training & Development Centre is the education arm of "Sun Wah - PearL Linux & Digital Forensics Limited", which is a spin-off company of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and is a joint venture company of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Hong Kong conglomerate Sun Wah Group.

SWP has an objective to promote the use of Linux and related Open Source Software (OSS) and Standards. Over the years, we are trying to include a flavour of vendor independence in our technology development as well as in our training and education programmes. Our passion to evangelize OSS persistently drives us towards innovations. OSS was evolved from the hackers' community, SWP absorbed some of the best philosophy, management and technical practice, utilize it amongst ourselves, and converting it using a market driven approach into demanded services and/or products.
In the recent years, SWP has been working with major computer forensics vendors in building our own computer forensics laboratory. The laboratory supports our R&D, teaching and often act as a reference point for the local computer forensics community in reviewing and testing of computer forensics tools and equipments.
