Sun Wah Pearl Linux Training and Development Centre (SWP) was jointly established by The Sun Wah Group and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University at the end of 2000. The centre, which began with offering Linux open source operating system support, had developed into a centre that provides a wide variety of award bearing higher-education programmes and professional training courses. The programmes in offer had been carefully selected in the purpose of addressing the needs to support the sustainable economic development of Hong Kong and the nearby regions.

The award bearing higher-education programmes are having great achievements. The forensics programmes are being well recognized by the industries and taking students from Hong Kong, Macau, the PearL River Delta and Taiwan. For the design programmes, we are proud in having a track record of 20 practicing designers graduated with the most respectful First-Class-Honours degree from the year 2008 to 2011. Having developed the solid academic foundation, SWP is launching new award bearing higher-education programmes to better support the development.

In addition, SWP distributes computer forensics products and conducts applied researches in computer forensics.
